We are a boy-led troop, offering a Scouting program with emphasis on camping and outdoor skills. Our Scouts actively practice the leadership skills they'll use as adults.  All boys age 11 to 17, in grades 6 or higher, are welcome to join us or to visit a meeting.   Please contact our Committee Chairman or Scoutmaster to arrange your visit to a meeting - we believe you'll become one of our newest members.

News You Can Use:

  • Our meeting location for tonight, Nov. 25, is in the basement of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at the corner of Rt. 37 and Colonial Rd.  
  • Stay warm and comfortable as we camp in the cold weather by reviewing the Tips for Cold Weather Camping.  
  • Our annual Wreath and Poinsettia sale is going on now with door-to-door sales.  Click here for extra order forms or flyers.  Door-to-door sales will end on Sat. Nov. 29, the day after Thankgiving, the same day that storefront sales beginning.  Sign ups for our annual store-front wreath sales will be coming soon.
    Order forms must be turned in no later than Nov 29 and can be turned in at a storefront sales event.  Later orders cannot be accepted.  Order pickup is expected to be the weekend of Dec. 6 at Dom's.  A second storefront sales day is also expected on Dec. 6.  For more information, contact the fundraising coordinator.

  • Annual dues are now due!  Bring your $80 annual dues to a troop meeting.  If paying dues will cause a financial hardship, please speak to the Troop Treasurer.  No boy will be refused because of financial hardship.
  • Parents of new Scouts are encourage to review the Parents page, especially the  Parents Welcome Letter and Handout and the Troop Information and Handbook.
  • Parents, please sign up as a backup driver for one camping trip during the year and update your Annual Motor Vehicle Checklist and return it to our Outdoor Coordinator, who maintains the information in confidential files. 
  • Pack 142 is looking for more Den Chiefs. It's a great leadership position.  Contact the Scoutmaster if you're interested in getting trained.
